We were assigned a project for 4 designs on each point, line and plane prompt they have to be 1080 x 1080 pixels only to use black no colour in all designs. For point I will be using the words disperse and multiply for my prompt words. for line I will be using symmetry and frequency for my prompt words. Finally for plane I will be using grid structures for my vocal point.
I was highly inspired by Felton and his art work as I thought the use of data in design was very smart and a good way to evolve data into art. my creations are going to be very influents by Felton as I want to incorporate data into my designs this may be a generic design but with meaning behind or such as a boy and girl ratio into my design. Felton uses data, dates and timing in his work with he use of point as well. my main focus was his pieces on ‘Feltron 2012’ this piece was very impactful and I wish to use this as my inspiration as a one point basis with many points inside would be very good to design and make with the point line plane project. I have some ideas on how I will execute this idea through a scatter piece and other like Felton's.

I was heavily inspired also by Dawes as his displays can be seen in York, England as a visual piece such as his ‘nothing can ever be the same’ was a visual piece shown by light and the lines throughout his piece have inspired me to make my piece disjointed and not as formed as others would. through this Dawes used a paper diagram which not as a first sketch but in a final sketch which i thought was very interesting and visually compelling. I will be using this as inspiration as I thought his design work is very compelling and interactive to the user and viewer of his designs.

I was inspired by Crouwel as I thought his pieces were very compelling and very interesting due to the time period they were making these intricate designs in. most of his designed were from 1964 onwards which meant that the digital age was not made yet so all of his designs were hand made with very precise lines and planes. I will be taking inspiration form his poster design such as ‘Kinderspel’ he used colour to define his planes and by using basic shapes to create this intriguing piece. also with this I wont be using colour but shading instead but still keeping the Crouwel inspiration throughout my designs.
