Project 2 is the following of using one of the declaration articles of human rights and making these into a poster I have chosen article 3 as this really stood out to me when I was going through all the articles. the main usage of this project is to make sure the typography is the main focus of the project and the point, line and plane aspect is also included.
I was inspired by these images I found on Pinterest as I wanted to use the point aspect of point line plane throughout my poster design. these images are a good way of seeing how I will be planning out my work and how to make typography the main focus of design.
Brockman was a Swiss graphic designer who focused on how shapes can be created with typography on paper and posters. he was the main person for the international typographic style to be introduced and this can eb shown throughout his work. his famous works conclude with the making of concert posters and other main types used for typography. he uses point, line and plane in most of his works including the most famous work of ‘the film’. I will be gaining some inspiration from Brockman as I like how clean and formative his work is and how the use of maybe 2/3 colours is very unique especially for poster design.
