for this project we were advised to create a new and improved music player app such as Spotify but better. a minimum of 3-6 screens is needed for this app to work with these being a home page, music screen, playlists and a play screen with this these all have to be a working app and be able to play the music as well.
these ideas where my main inspiration for this project but the one i felt was jumping out to me is the use of restaurants needing a new music app that plays copy right free music and how this will be applied to a music app as well from features of music to live recommendations and different atmospheres have different music for example a Italian restaurant will have more soft and sombre music yet a pub like atmosphere will have a more grungy and chaotic vibe.
also the use of mind mapping is very use full this is a good method to create a good basis towards the researching and overall final idea for the music app.
this is my mood board for this project want a clean and organised type of music app also the use of rectangles and circles together is very interesting as i really like this type of music app also the use of typography can be very powerful and yet can bring a project to a new light which i want to achieve.

Background Music for Restaurants | Startle
these three apps are all similar but all design qualities are very different for example startle is more user friendly with aspects that are every compliant towards the user also the with some of the aspects this app has i really like how they use a calendar timetable to upload their music to comply with the different time of day and what event is on.
also with this Touch tunes focuses on digital jukeboxes are in the area and what music can be played in which location which i like this concept a lot also the use of something like Spotify wrapped is also on this app which is a clever idea and see which music artists is played the most in which location.
