UXD 104 visual imaging and interaction
this week we focused on the tools that have been used throughout history within design and how many artist still use older tools rather than new tools today.
many tools made for design were made with pens, pencil, paper, fax machine and many more techniques used throughout the design space for example Marion Dechaures is a illustrator who main style is to create sketch like images to then be put onto a digital screen.
another artist is David Hockney he is a artist who uses bright vibrant colours with a childlike persona to his illustrations. such as Paul Ilerman he has a more abstract style but yet keeps in theme with many different shapes in order to make typography jump out from the screen. again with the abstract theme Kurt Shwitters is another abstract artist that uses older type skills for his work to jump out of the page also in many ways these artists are all linked through techniques of using older tools such as paint, pens and pencils.

many of us designers use modern tools such as a tablet, vectors, illustrator software, photos, photo shop and many other modern tools in order to keep regenerating new ideas and softwares to use in the future for example some artists that use these methods are
Olly Moss- vector art
Neil Stevens- high definition vector art
Matt Anderson- photography and print design
Kate Morros- procreate/digital artist
Benny Productions- photo shop
Charlie waite- photography
Kyle Tezak- icongraphy
