UXD 104 imaging and data visualisation
this week we focused on illustration is used in user interface design and how create a good illustrative story using many techniques with the use of colour, bases for illustrations and a good understanding of how illustration contribute to design elements.
the essence to illustration is to use clarification and context to further understand how UI is made for design and the use of of illustrations is to demonstrate what and where a website is organised and understood well throughout the design.
illustration in UI should be meaningful, recognisable , straightforward and unambiguous and clarifying, attractive, harmonic with a general stylistic concept, improving usability not over loading the screen or page. all of these are extremely good ways to understand a concept using illustration in UI.

these are illustrations that depict something that is associated with the brand as a animal or being that can be used for promoting purposes. such as Disneys, mickey mouse.

these are formally shown as vectors and can be shown in more flat and simple designs. these can be used for scenes or animation for a company.

these are visual illustrations that depict a graph, diagram or pie chart. also this can be a learning illustration for the user and can be used throughout for learning purposes.

these can come in many forms such as a data graph, diagram and many more like a diagramic this is very similar but with the use of dash boards.
