this week we focused on how user interface is connected through our own music apps and how important such controls are for a successful app to be made.

principles of user interface

principles for user interface concludes with the core guidelines of digital products are made and how efficient they are towards a working app or website. also this should be user friendly and should flow easily throughout the application.

some of these are as follows;

• touch controlls
• format content
• hit targets
• text size
• contrast
• spacing
• distortion
• organisation
• alignment

touch screen target sizes

a touch screen should be around 7-10 mm to ensure usability and security when using a device and with these guidelines this will accommodates the users experience.
