IXD 101- Interaction design fundamentals 2025-2026
This week we reflected on our own creations from the project one and project two of the module. this was a group critique session which brought a lot of feedback and criticism to my own project and to others.
This project we were asked to create 5 consecutive pieces of three different subject of point, line and plane.
For my critiques this was known for my point design being more conclusive than the other designs I created as from my feedback my point project came across as a dispersive design even though i wanted this as a symmetry design I took this feedback on board and as I looked deeper into the design I also now think this is a dispersive and scale design.
For my line this was perceived as a symmetry as well from the line work being more cohesive and into as abstract as others were. also the line work for this to be centred a bit more and to have more fluidity with the lines such as contrast as well with darker lines rather than the lines being all there same width.
For my plane series this was my most critiqued series due to the black leading into he other piece beside this I was referred to keep going with this and to continue the black throughout into the whole piece as a connective area of view. also I needed to make the plane into a sequence instead of using the grid systems as I was viewing this it needed a bit more functionality.

This project we had to create a poster type for any of the human right articles which I have chosen Article 3.
The feedback I have got on my article 3 on human rights poster was there was too much free space in the poster itself with the negative space being too much I was recommended to fill this and to create some more dynamics into the poster itself.
The other feedback I have got was to make the main body of text bigger than the title for a play around hierarchy and see what this would look like through the poster instead of the main being the heading of article 3.
Lastly the meaning of the poster within the colouring and circles. I was suggested to do this as this is good design practice and I needed when in discussions to back up the meaning of this. also the playing around with colour could bring a new light to the poster and to redesign the circles to fit with the theme of what article 3 represents.
