brand guidelines for another business

this week we were tasked to create a brand guidelines for a brand that does not have one i have chosen to create one for the brand Grind which does not have a style guide and attempt to create to the fullest of what the brand is for and what way they communicate towards their own consumers.

i have chosen to create a guideline presentation for Grind as i personally love this brand and how this is designed for example the clean and modern design was the first thing to entice me to create these guidelines and the background of Grind themselves is a very thought out branding design with many collaborations as well being the forefront of the brand for example their own Pokemon collaboration is very fun and yet still keeps within the design elements without over loading in the design and colour part.

Reflection

This exercise was a struggle for me due to researching into grind themselves there wasn’t much information on the style guides and for example what font they use. this exercise has brought some experience into creating style guides and brand guidelines and what content is needed for these to work also from doing a deep dive into Grind this gave me a chance to see how a brand uses applications such as photography which i hope to use in my own project guidelines. in conclusion this product review and brand guidelines was hard for me to design due to the lack of information on the brand design elements and furthermore i wanted to execute this better and cleaner but i will now know how to conduct my own guidelines for project 1 better and to visualise my content better.
