reflection

This week we were finalising on how to add and create images to our code on the street of crocodiles. the use of CSS on GitHub was needed for this week and the connections to be correct for this we needed to add images into our project.

Adding images

Using multiple different types of software such as

• JPG- ideal for images to be downloaded in
• PNG- can be edited easily
• GIF- a moving image
• SVG- vectors and icons

all of these types of downloaders are all considered for images to be put into CSS also these mean there is less data transfer, faster load times, improved user experience and scalable impact.

vector vs bitmap

the difference between these vector and bitmap would be for vector images this would be scalable for vector files so any size can be added but generally vector files are smaller rather than bitmap are larger size compared to a vector. the editing of bitmap is a bit more confusing than with vector and the quality can also deteriorate

jpegs have characteristics of resolution dependant, bitmap, photographic images and transparency isn't supported.
